Batch 2015 radiates excellence in the 67th Commencement Exercises

St. Bridget College taught us optimism and determination that we can make our dreams come true by transforming all “impossibilities” to realities and the unachievable ideals to concrete achievement.  It is our time to radiate more of this light proving how we were cared, transformed, developed, loved and cherished by our Bridgetine family”.

Ochoa, Buenafe Top 509 Graduates

Jelmer Jon B. Ochoa and Raphael Alfredo Luis L. Buenafe emerged as the valedictorian and salutatorian respectively among 509 graduates in the 95th Commencement Exercises of St.

SBC Shepherds rule BCASM; battle-ready for STCAA

          After reigning as over-all champion in Batangas City Athletic and Sports Meet (BCASM), SBC Shepherds prepare for the upcoming Southern Tagalog CALABARZON Athletic Association (STCAA) competition to be held in Imus City, Cavite, Feb. 6-13, 2015.

SBC Shepherds demolish New District Spikers

            The crowd was screaming with excitement as they witnessed  how SBC Shepherds defeated the New District Volleyball Spikers in the Batangas City Athletic and Sports Meet (BCASM) Boys Championship volleyball game, Nov. 10.

Beaconette staffers bag awards in DSPC

     To enhance journalistic competence through healthy and friendly competitions, Beaconette scribes participated and bagged awards in the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held at Batangas City East Elementary School, Oct. 8-11.
     Kirsten Chloe Hernandez emerged as the champion in Editorial Writing – English. On the other hand, Kiersten Rose Mercado grabbed the 2nd place in the same category.

College Department launches Bridgetine Broadcaster’s Society

            To promote solidarity among the departments of the school community, provide up-to-date information on school activities and other concerns and to support the institution’s aim for evangelization, St. Bridget College, College Department, launched Bridgetine Broadcaster’s Society (BBS), November 21, 2014.

Seminar on different forms of addiction held

            To be informed, the first year and second year students of the college department attended a seminar on the different forms of addiction at Mary Morrissey Hall, Nov. 28, 2014.

Sibul staffers garner awards in press tilt

             Two members of Sibul editorial board proved their journalistic craft as they garnered awards in the Regional Higher Education Press Conference held at Batis Aramin Hotel and Resort, Lucban, Quezon, December 3-5, 2014.

Marasigan: ‘The heart of a teacher is bigger than the lessons she shares’

          “I may not be remembered by my students for the lessons I had taught them, but they will remember me for the love and care I gave them when they were my students because I know that the heart of a teacher is bigger than the lessons she shares.”

Bridgetines emerge victorious in the celebration of NSM

            Bridgetines emerged victorious in the 1st Batangas City Government and the Office of the City Civil Registrar’s Collage Making Contest, Oct. 29.
