ABM students showcase their potentials in the Marketing Field
Grade 12 students of the Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) strand unleashed their marketing skills in one of their specialized subjects-Marketing, September 5 and 7.
Creativity and efficiency were shown by the students from ABM 3-Sr. Mary Dominica Long and ABM 4-Sr. Mary Catherine Loreto in the Marketing presentation of their chalks products. This project was given by Mrs. Pauline Bondad, teacher of the said subject and an accomplished business woman owning several franchises.
The two sections were each divided into 6 and were tasked to elevate an ordinary chalk. Each group provided a product poster, radio advertisement, television commercial and presented the following along with their products. Moreover, the students were distinct merits at the end of their presentation.
To recognized the artistic efforts of the students, Elysian: Pop Chalk (ABM 3) and Essence (ABM 4) bagged the Best Product Award. Fizzy Bomb (ABM 3) and Chalkquito (ABM 4) got the Best Presentor Award. The Best Packaging Award was given to Ispektrum (ABM 3) and Farra Cosmetics (ABM 4). On the other hand, Yeso Pretty (ABM 3) and Unicorn Chalk (ABM 4) won Best Radio Advertisement and Powerchalk (ABM 3), while Chalkmate (ABM 4) was hailed as Best Commercial. Furthermore, Pastelite (ABM 3) and Picasso Chalk Pastels (ABM 4) won the award for the Best Poster.
The winners received PhP. 5,000 worth of gift certificates from Butch Seafood Grill and Restaurant and Shakey’s Pizza.
According to the ABM students, the marketing project was “challenging yet worth it” as they were able to hone their innovative abilities, as well as their communication, leadership and cooperative skills through the activity.
