College Bridgetines victorious in Patimpalak Parangal kay Apolinario Mabini

College Bridgetines won in various competitions during the 49th celebration of Batangas City Foundation Day and in Patimpalak Parangal kay Apolinario Mabini at Batangas City Convention Center, Jul. 19.

Different schools from Batangas Province joined competitions which included folk dances and the singing of songs of Batangueño compositor.

In “Magtipon sa Tahanan ng Diyos” by Augusto Espino for tertiary level, the triple trio of College Department, Teresa Fernando, BSBA1, Dianne Tobias, BSED1, Shiela Mae Bayani, Jazel Paula Blanco, Carren Dahab, Rosette Soriano, and Jannica Divine Vino, BSED4, and Aira Grantoza and Ruby Ocon, BEED4, placed 2nd runner up. University of Batangas and Batangas State University got the first and second place respectively.

On the other hand, in “Sayaw ng Komintang”, college Bridgetines, Arthenian De Los Reyes, Christian John Antenor, Airene Catipan, Lou Austin Cuenza, Dave Dimalaluan and Christian Paul Valenzuela, BSED1, and Yannah Suzanne Acosta, Kathleen Joy Lorraine Alda, Julie Ann Barquilla, Annaliza Macatangay, Loi Cedrick Ramos and Wella Williams, ranked 1st runner up. Batangas State University was hailed as champion while Sta. Teresa College placed 2nd runner up.

Trophies and cash prizes were given to the winners.
