Lay Mission Partners commemorate Mother Foundress’ 222nd Birthday
As part of the celebration of SME’s 222nd birthday, a talk on the life and aspirations of the Mother Foundress was conducted at SJE Bldg., College Dept., July 31.
Anticipating for more knowledge about the life of St. Mary Euphrasia, SBC lay mission partners participated in a seminar-talk on SME’s life shepherded by Sr. Mary Teresita Figueroa, RGS, Finance officer.
The gathering was commenced not only to refresh the participants’ familiarity over the Mother Foundress but also to equip the members with deeper comprehension of SME’s life and aspirations.
Various individual and group reflections and dialogues were steered to enliven and invigorate the participants as they take part in the said talk.
“For so many years I have been educated about SME. I thought I already know much about her. But today’s talk reveals to me that I still don’t recognize her at all,” articulated Dr. Borras, SHS Principal, amazed by Sr. Figueroa’s sharing.
The assembly was partaken by the administrative officers, faculty and staff of IPS, SHS Level and College Department.
