Bridgetine Nasyonalismo 2019: Unveils Talents and Boosts Camaraderie

With the aim of uplifting the spirit and showcasing the talents of college Bridgetines, St. Bridget College, College Department celebrated the annual “Pagdiriwang ng Nasyonalismo” at the SBC Gymnasium, August 28.
Integrating the theme “Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Bansang Filipino”, College Department conducted three talent competitions namely, Paligsahan sa OPM (Duet), Paligsahan sa Kundiman (Solo), and Paligsahan sa Spoken Work Poetrywhich promoted patriotism and nationalism among students.
BSSW dominated the talent competitions garnering 2 out of 3 golds. Adrian Zoleta and Camille Bianzon were victorious in Paligsahan sa OPM, and Alysha Paula Marticio was hailed as champion in “Paligsahan sa Kundiman”. Meanwhile, BSED grabbed the remaining gold as Erika Lairie Balmes topped the Spoken Word Poetry Competition.
Moreover, proving that Bridgetines excel also in vocal and kinesthetic fields, TaLa singers and dancers showcased their capacities through performing Kundiman and Alitaptap folk dance which both clutched award during the Patimapalak Parangal para kay Apolinario Mabinilast July 2019. A set of Palarong Pinoy was conducted in the afternoon which was participated both by faculty members and studens.
