Seniors celebrate achievements in an Integration and Appreciation Day

Before bidding their farewell to their alma mater, the Senior High School (SHS) level celebrated the achievements of its Grade 12 students through an Integration and Appreciation Day, May 11. 

The event was streamed live on the official Facebook Page of the SHS level at 9 am, anchored with the theme: “Grateful to God, Inspired to Give”.

To start off the program, a video presentation was played, displaying the history of Filipino Catholicism followed by the National Anthem and an opening prayer featuring the Religious of the Good Shepherd Sisters, SBC SHS teachers, and Christian Joseph Ilagan of STEM – Sr. Mary Immaculate Concepcion Cahill and his family. 

Class presentations of the Grade 12 classes proceeded starting from ABM – Sr. Mary Dominica Long, HUMSS – Sr. Mary Elizabeth O’Dowd, STEM – Sr. Mary Concepcion Conti, STEM – Sr. Mary Consuelo Chuidian, STEM – Sr. Mary Virginia Gonzaga, and ending with STEM – Sr. Mary Immaculate Concepcion Cahill. 

The presentations highlighted memorable moments of the class during the face-to-face classes before the pandemic, messages to parents with family pictures in the background, and performances of different songs and dances. 

A dance performance followed where the talents of different Grade 12 students were creatively shown with the song High Hopes by Panic! at the Disco. 

The compilation of different portfolios, part of the ‘My Senior High School Journey,’ was featured where the best portfolios were highlighted. 

Moreover, Engr. Edgardo V. Villena gave the “Message from the Parent” where he expressed his gratitude to the students for their sacrifices amidst the pressing time. 

The program ended with a closing prayer by Kristina Angeline B. Arguelles from STEM – Cahill. Mikaela Maxenne L. Aclan from HUMSS – O’Dowd and Hannah Ysabela U. Catibog from ABM 2 – Long served as the masters of ceremony.
