“It was my first time competing in any of the ASMEPPS contests, and to be able to win a place in the regional Science quiz, in which I participated, is such a big achievement for me; especially since my goal is to only challenge myself by trying new things, which I could say I did. There are times I fear I can’t make it, but despite this, the challenge continues and I will use these past experiences to prepare myself for the next level, the nationals,” Chai Riz Chavez, Science quiz 6th placer, stated.

18 out of the 18 representatives qualified and will proceed to the national level of the competition that will be conducted on February 11. All participants were mentored by Mrs. Mabel Calaluan for the Science Quiz, while Ms. Jean Valerie Collera handled the representatives of the Math Quiz.
