SIBUL Publication bagged the 2nd Runner-Up spot in the Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK) Coverage conducted by the Panlungsod na Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan of Batangas City on September 13 at the Batangas City Convention Center.
The awarding ceremony took place during Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Night, a culminating celebration that honored the winners of the different competitions and activities held during Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.
The celebration featured the awarding of winners from different competitions, including the Side Hustle Fair, Parlor Games, Parade and Yell, Photo Essay, and Art You Can Carry. The evening also featured Lakan at Lakambini, which showcased the talents, confidence, and participation of the Batangueño youth.
For the LNK Coverage category, Punto Singko emerged as the champion, followed by The Lathe as 1st Runner-Up.
The recognition honored the participating youth media teams for their coverage and documentation of the various Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 activities and events conducted between August 8 and 20, which served as the official coverage period for the competition.
SIBUL’s coverage team was composed of news anchors Amie R. Espiritu and Tiffany Joy D. Valero; reporters Abby Lorraine B. Ramirez and Trisha Faith V. Alcos; camera operator Lealyn G. Mendoza; video editor Joseph Stephen S. Mabilin; script writer Huan Antonio O. Sison; and director/producer R-Jay A. Vergara, with Mrs. Kristine P. Jabat serving as adviser.
The achievement marks another milestone for SIBUL Publication as it continues to uphold youth journalism and document stories and experiences that matter to the community.
