Driven by a shared commitment to advancing research, innovation, and academic excellence, St. Bridget College, Batangas City and the International Association of Science and Math Professionals and Researchers Inc. (IASMPR) strengthened their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM via Zoom.
The signing ceremony commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the introduction of participants led by Mr. John Jeffry Mendoza, SBC External Relations and Alumni Officer.
The program continued with the presentation of the partnership by Dr. Amor Borbon, Quality Assurance Officer and IASMPR National Director.
Among the areas of collaboration presented were the exchange of faculty members and students for lectures, seminars, discussions, and cultural activities; organization and participation in academic activities such as conference, workshops, publications, and seminars; joint collaboration in the development of programs and learning content; and joint research and development in areas of common interest.

Messages were delivered by Mr. Glen Millar, Chairman and President of IASMPR Inc. and Dr. Bernadette I. Manalo, SBC President, who both highlighted the value of research collaboration, academic engagement and professional development. They both emphasized that the partnership is more than a signed document but a foundation of a significant collaboration.
The formal signing ceremony was led by Dr. Imelda B. Vergara, SBC Institutional Research, Planning and Publications Officer and IASMPR Vice President for Research and Publications. The signing was followed by the presentation of the signed Memorandum of Understanding, officially establishing the partnership between SBC and IASMPR Inc.

In her closing message, Dr. Vergara underscored the significance of the partnership in advancing education, research, and innovation. She pointed out that by letting their light shine and working together to collaborate, discover, and succeed, both institutions can create a brighter future for the communities they serve.
The participants of the event were the Executive Committee of St. Bridget College, the Institutional Research Committee, and representatives of IASMPR Inc., whose presence and support contributed to the success of the partnership ceremony.
More than a formal agreement, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) reflects the beginning of a stronger partnership between St. Bridget College and International Association of Science and Math Professionals and Researchers Inc. (IASMPR) to encourage innovation and create opportunities for meaningful academic impact. Through this partnership, both institutions look forward to implementing research initiatives that will benefit researchers, educators, and the wider academic community.
