In line with its commitment to foster synergy across the institution, St. Bridget College conducted its Institutional Development Programs (IDP) Review and Synchronization of Schedule, June 15, 2026, at the Mary Dominica Function Hall, St. Bridget College, Batangas City.

The event, which dwelt on theme “Fostering Synergy: Synchronize. Blend. Collaborate,” was facilitated by Dr. Imelda B. Vergara, Institutional Research, Planning and Publications Officer.

In the opening prayer led by Mrs. Ma. Socorro Lalap, Center for Formation and Praxis Officer, the participants created a constellation board, where they expressed their commitment to share their gifts, talents, and responsibilities in support of institutional development. This meaningful activity set a reflective and collaborative tone for the day.

Afterwards, to foster openness and engagement among participants, Mr. Marvin Agusto, college program chairperson, facilitated interactive group activities focused on synchronization, blending, and collaboration.

A key highlight of the morning session was the review of the Institutional Development Programs (IDP) led by Dr. Vergara. Participants engaged in group activities to assess the implementation status of various programs and discuss opportunities for further development.

The review highlighted significant progress across various programs while identifying areas for improvement, including strengthening initiatives, clarifying roles, and enhancing implementation strategies.

During the discussions, participants emphasized the need for clear accountability, stronger coordination among offices, and consistent monitoring mechanisms to ensure effective program implementation.

Thereafter, Sr. Ma. Añanita Borbon, RGS, PhD, College President, delivered a message inspired by Ecclesiastes 3:1–8. She encouraged the participants to recognize the importance of timing and purpose in organizational growth and to align all efforts with the institution’s mission.

In the afternoon session, focal persons of each program presented their action plans for School Year 2026–2027. They highlighted key initiatives and strategic directions for prioritizing program mechanisms.

The session concluded with a commitment from all participants to finalize program priorities, assign responsible persons involved, and implement strategic actions that will strengthen institutional programs with effectiveness.

They reflected on their shared journey and placed their commitments on “Footprints to the Mission” board. The reflection highlighted that the path forward is shaped not by individual efforts alone but by a shared commitment that forms a clear direction toward the mission.

The IDP Review and Synchronization of Schedule is an annual activity organized by the Institutional Research, Planning and Publications Office to ensure alignment of institutional programs, strengthen collaboration among offices, and enhance the effective implementation of strategic initiatives.
