With prayers and a shared spirit of service, the Bridgetine community gathered for the celebration of Flores de Mayo on May 28, 2026, at St. Bridget College, Batangas City.
Dwelling on the theme “Pagkakaisa sa Komunidad,” the program began with a reflection led by Ms. Lea Castillo, SHS faculty. She shared the everyday challenges people experience and how faith, prayer, and service continue to bring the community together. She also emphasized that being Bridgetines means becoming instruments of love and hope to others through simple acts of kindness and service.

This was followed by the opening song, “Araw-araw kay Maria,” and the reading of the Word of God from Acts 1:14 by Ms. Karen Nicole De Guzman, Quality Assurance staff.
A short reflection followed, reminding everyone that a strong community is not measured by position or status, but by people who are willing to listen, help, and care for one another.
One of the meaningful parts of the celebration was the praying of the Holy Rosary, where different offices and departments led each mystery.
A key highlight of the celebration was the offering of symbolic gifts and outreach donations.
Different departments shared their offering not only as a sign of devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, but also as a way of extending help to those in need.
Through these offerings, the Bridgetine community was reminded that faith is best expressed through generosity, unity, and service to others.

Departments and offices that participated in the offering included BED Administration, SHS and College, SME offices, SJE and EduHub, Guidance, Clinic and CSSAO offices, Library, Maintenance, and RGS Convent.
The celebration formally concluded with a procession around the campus joined by the Bridgetine community.
After the celebration, representatives from various offices and departments, led by the Center for Formation and Praxis Office, proceeded to the outreach community to deliver the collected goods and donations for the victims of the fire incident in Brgy 24, Batangas City.
