Focusing on youth participation, leadership, and preparation of the upcoming Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections, Grade 12 student leaders of St. Bridget College, Inc. joined around 400 youth participants from across Batangas City during the 2nd Katipunan ng Kabataan Synergy on September 7, 2026, at the Batangas City Convention Center.
The program featured discussions on preparations for the upcoming Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections and the Philippine Youth Development Program 2023–2028, which serves as a framework for youth development initiatives.
The event also featured SYNERQUIZ 2026, where Ernest Jose D. Babasa, Adrienne Lexie C. Pargas, and Ma. Andrea Lorrein C. Visco of Grade 12 HUMSS 2 – Sr. Mary Elizabeth O’Dowd, represented St. Bridget College and competed against other youth participants.
During the event, Hon. Sherwin C. Tejada encouraged the youth to take part in their communities and reminded them, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young.”
The gathering brought together young people from different schools and organizations to discuss youth participation, development, and leadership in Batangas City.
