In a resounding affirmation of its commitment to academic excellence, St. Bridget College’s College Department has officially achieved Level III re-accredited status for seven (7) academic programs, valid until 2030.

The newly re-accredited programs include Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education, Bachelor of Physical Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Social Work.

The re-accreditation proper was conducted on May 5 and 6, 2025. PAASCU accreditors visited the campus to evaluate the programs through classroom observations, document reviews, and interviews with faculty, staff, students and other stakeholders.

Dr. Amor L. Borbon, Quality Assurance Officer and College Dean, remarked “I’m incredibly proud that our department has achieved Level III re-accreditation. It’s a testament of our hard work, dedication, and high standards of our faculty, staff, and students.”

Dr. Borbon also added that the recognition motivates everyone to keep pushing excellence and continuous improvement. She emphasized, “For the whole community, it shows that we’re not just meeting standards, we’re exceeding them. It is a big win for us; it brings honor to our institution and proves we’re on the right path.”

This recognition followed the programs’ successful fulfillment of the standards set by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) – a private, voluntary, and non-profit organization that evaluates and accredits educational programs in member institutions. PAASCU is officially recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for its role in promoting quality assurance in Philippine higher education.
