St. Bridget College formally concluded School Year 2025–2026 with a meaningful year-end assembly on May 21, 2026, at the Manuela Q. Pastor Auditorium. Guided by the theme “Synodal Journey: Embracing Memories, Celebrating Milestones Together,” the event brought the Bridgetine community together to look back on a year of shared growth and success.
The program began with a prayer service led by Mrs. Ma. Socorro Lalap, Center for Formation and Praxis Officer, followed by the singing of the national anthem. To break the ice and energize the audience, attendees participated in an interactive event. Shortly after, Dr. Amor Borbon, Quality Assurance Officer, delivered the welcome message, highlighting how the year’s collective experiences and milestones have continuously shaped the institution.
A central feature of the assembly was a series of video presentations capturing the highlights, challenges, and core memories from various offices and departments over the past academic year.

The event also drew inspiration from guest speakers and proud SBC alumni: Mrs. Evangeline Faigmane, BED Administrator, and Dr. Julius Arguelles, DepEd Principal. Both shared personal reflections on their journeys, emphasizing the value of perseverance, dedicated service, and the lifelong influence of an SBC education.
In her address, Sr. Ma. Añanita Borbon, RGS, PhD, College President, reflected on the institution’s path through the school year’s triumphs and trials. She urged the community to carry these lessons forward into future endeavors, echoing the words of St. Mary Euphrasia: “Do well all that you do.”
The atmosphere turned festive with a dynamic intermission number by the Performing Arts Office, followed by interactive games and the presentation of institutional awards.
The following offices were recognized for their outstanding contributions: 5-Star Service Award (Silver): Institutional Guidance and Counseling Office; 5-Star Service Award (Bronze): Registrar’s Office; Heart of Service Award: Institutional Guidance and Counseling Office; Outstanding Service-Oriented Award: Institutional Technology Management Services Office; Service Efficiency Award: Institutional Guidance and Counseling Office; Excellence in Accessibility Award: Institutional Research, Planning, and Publications Office; Pioneer Service Award: Center for Formation and Praxis Office & the External Relations Office.

Adding a more personal and nostalgic touch to the celebration was the Achievement Gallery and Treasured Keepsake before and after dinner, respectively. The Achievement Gallery features accomplishments and milestones of different offices and departments achieved throughout the year.
Meanwhile, the giving of treasured keepsake encouraged everyone to bring meaningful items they wished to share with others. Everyone was invited to freely choose items that resonated with them, making the experience both heartfelt and memorable.
The spirit of gratitude deepened during the exchange of symbolic gifts and the closing rites. Bringing the event to a close, Dr. Bernadette I. Manalo, BED Principal, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of both the academic year and the day’s celebration.
By celebrating its Synodal Journey, St. Bridget College capped off another fruitful academic year, with its commitment to gratitude and a shared purpose.
The committee in charge of the event was the Executive Committee members, particularly Dr. Amor L. Borbon, Mrs. Julieta Macalalad, Mr. John Jeffry Mendoza and Dr. Imelda Vergara with the support of the College President, Sr. Ma. Añanita, Borbon, RGS PhD.
