Batangas City, July 17, 2024 — St. Bridget College-Batangas City has successfully launched its Academic Year 2024-2025, welcoming more than 2,000 students from both the Elementary and Junior High School levels during a well-organized Orientation Week held from July 17 to July 19.
The Basic Education Department (BED) began the school year on July 17, marking the first official day of classes. The day was filled with excitement and anticipation as students, parents, and faculty members gathered to kick off the new academic year. The school administrators ensured that the students were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere through a welcoming band from ICAP at the SBC-Metropolis, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
On July 18, the second day of the orientation, students participated in a variety of activities designed to help them acclimate to their new environment. The day was dedicated to class preparation, a comprehensive campus tour, and an introduction to the various essential offices that support student life. These included the Prefect of Discipline (POD), the Library, the Guidance Office, the Registrar, and the Student Activities Center (SAC). The campus tour allowed students to familiarize themselves with the school’s facilities, ensuring that they feel comfortable navigating the campus throughout the year.
The final day of Orientation Week, July 19, was focused on Subject Area Orientation. Students were introduced to their subject teachers and given an overview of the curriculum and academic expectations for the year. This session provided students with valuable insights into their coursework, helping them understand the academic challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
The successful execution of the Orientation Week at St. Bridget College-Batangas City demonstrates the institution’s commitment to providing a supportive and structured environment for its students. As the school year progresses, the Basic Education Department remains dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring that every student is well-prepared for both academic success and personal growth.
With the new academic year now in full swing, the students at St. Bridget College-Batangas City are ready to embark on their educational journey, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to thrive.
