
With deep gratitude and hopeful hearts, the HIM Scholars of St. Bridget College welcomed and honored Batangas Governor Hermilando I. Mandanas in a short yet meaningful program held on April 10, 2025.
The event became a momentous occasion for the scholars as Gov. Mandanas delivered an empowering message, highlighting the importance of education, service, and integrity in leadership. He encouraged the students to pursue excellence not only for personal success but for the good of their communities.
One of the highlights of the event was the formal Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected HIM Scholars Officers. Leading the council is President Marbelyn Barbosa, with Angelica Culla as Executive Vice President. Also taking their oath were Vice President for Internal Affairs: Jenny Rose Bituin; Vice President for External Affairs: Ian Veeber Manalo; Secretary: Laxman Bicol; Assistant Secretary: Alaiza Mercado; Treasurer: Huan Antonio Sison; Auditor: Cherry Bitas; Public Relations Officer: Lorenzo Railey Aguba; and Project Director: Angelie Joy Dalisay.
With fresh mandates and renewed commitment, the officers pledged to uphold the values of scholarship, leadership, and service—ready to fulfill their responsibilities with purpose and compassion.
The gathering concluded with a hopeful atmosphere, as scholars and officials alike looked forward to the impact that this new generation of leaders will bring to both school and society.
