
St. Bridget College’s official publication, SIBUL, proudly made its mark at the 20th Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC) held at Batis Aramin Resort & Hotel, Lucban, Quezon, from April 2-4. Competing against top-tier campus journalists across Luzon, SIBUL emerged victorious in several categories, proving once again that Bridgetine excellence knows no bounds.
In the group category, SIBUL secured the 6th place for Best Editorial/Column Page in the Tabloid Category. This achievement highlights the collective effort and synergy of the team in producing high-quality editorial content.
Individually, Jenny D. Panganiban, BSED 4-English, achieved 7th place in Column Writing (Filipino), showcasing her exceptional ability to craft thought-provoking and engaging columns. Additionally, Jimmvell C. Castillo, BEED 4, earned 10th place in Development Communication Writing (Filipino), demonstrating his skill in addressing developmental issues through effective communication.
These wins speak volumes of the team’s dedication, creativity, and commitment to meaningful storytelling. The achievements at the LHEPC highlight the exceptional talent and hard work of the SIBUL team, showcasing their ability to craft compelling narratives and insightful columns that resonate with readers. The team was guided and coached by Mrs. Kristine P. Jabat, SIBUL Moderator, whose mentorship played a role in their success.
The conference provided a platform for campus journalists to hone their skills, exchange ideas, and celebrate their passion for journalism. SIBUL’s success is a testament to the vibrant and dynamic spirit of St. Bridget College’s student body, encouraging them to continue pursuing excellence in all their endeavors.
