
It’s a date with lay mission partners on Valentine’s Day!
With hearts ready to nurture commitment to the mission of the institution, St. Bridget College administrators, faculty, staff, and maintenance, together with the Religious of the Good Shepherd sisters, gathered in the Institutional Mid-year Assembly at Manuel Q. Pastor Auditorium, SBC, Batangas City, February 14, 2025.
Highlighting updates from different offices and departments, the event intended to make the lay mission partners well-informed of the programs and policies of the institution.
To formally begin the program, Sr. Ma. Añanita Borbon, RGS, PhD, college president, provided an overview of institutional policies and congregational updates.
Eight members of the Executive Committee presented the key developments, upcoming events, significant updates and other important announcements in their respective departments/offices.
Ms. Gayle Anne Guerra, Human Resources and Management Department officer, delivered an HR Reorientation outlining the key policies that every employee must adhere to and observe. Her presentation ensured that everyone was well-versed about the institutional guidelines, expectations, and procedures.
Mrs. Bernadette Manalo, BED principal, shared a presentation on Basic Education Department, sharing updates on the department’s achievements, ongoing and future activities. Following her, Dr. Amor Borbon, college dean, presented updates from the College Department, highlighting academic advancements.
Next, Mrs. Julieta Macalalad, CSSA officer, provided a sharing about Campus Services and Student Affairs Office, discussing student and employee welfare and services. Mr. Arman Jay Dizon, finance officer, then presented updates from the Finance Office, outlining financial reports and plans for resource allocation.
Mr. Ryan Gamboa, ITMS officer, followed with a presentation from the Institutional Technology and Management Services Office, focusing on technological advancements and improvements. Afterward, Mrs. Ma. Socorro Lalap, CFP officer shared the latest events from the Center for Formation and Praxis Office, detailing formation programs.
Finally, Dr. Imelda Vergara, IRPP officer, concluded the presentations with updates from the Institutional Research, Planning, and Publications Office, providing information on the research agenda and initiatives; planning processes; and faculty and student publications.
Thereafter, the awarding of employees took place, recognizing their outstanding contributions and dedication to the institution. This moment celebrated the hard work and achievements of employees among different departments, highlighting their commitment to excellence.
The employees recognized during the event for their perfect attendance from August 2024 to December 2024 were Mrs. Catherine C. Aclan, BED- JHS; Ms. Carmela Unies L. De Guzman, IPS; Mrs. Melanie A. Garcia, BED- Elem; Ms. Jenny Babes P. Luzaran, BED- Elem; Mrs. Bernadette I. Manalo, BED- Elem; Ms. Ailyn F. Mangubat, BED-Elem; Ms. Aimee Patriz C. Ramos, BED- JHS; Ms. Mary Grace Rivera, BED- SHS; and Dr. Imelda B. Vergara, IPS.
Top performers in the evaluation were also recognized. These included Dr. Amor L. Borbon, EXECOM; Mrs. Lea B. Abacan, Middle-Level Administrator; Mrs. Angeline P. Dalisay, BED-Elem; Mrs. Melba P. Comendador, BED-JHS; Ms. Lea Chariz A. Castillo, BED-SHS; Mrs. Fe S. Babao – College; Mrs. Medy A. Bautista, Non-Teaching Personnel; and Mr. Felix C. Panganiban, Maintenance Staff.
Mrs. Medy A. Bautista from the non-teaching personnel category was also awarded for ranking first among the top performers in the evaluation.
The event culminated with a closing prayer led by the Center for Formation and Praxis Office, and the community singing of the Bridgetine song.
The said event was hosted by Ms. Gengky De Castro, JHS faculty and Mr. Dhale Tubig, PAO moderator, who guided the assembly with professionalism and warmth.
