The St. Bridget College-Pastor’s Field was transformed into a festive playground of foam, fitness, and family fun on December 7, 2024, as the Basic Education Department (Elementary and Junior High School) celebrated their annual Family Day. This year’s theme, “Sleigh the Holidays: A Family Fitness Day,” captured the joyous and energetic spirit of the event, leaving attendees with memories to treasure.
The day began with a bubbly bang—a Foam Fun Run that turned the field into a frothy wonderland. Families ran, laughed, and played, basking in the morning sun as clouds of foam added a whimsical touch. Cheers erupted as participants crossed the finish line, their faces lit with a mix of pride and exhilaration.
But the fun didn’t stop there. The crowd shifted into high gear with an electrifying Zumba session led by dynamic instructor who had everyone—young and old—dancing to the beat. With every move, the Zumba session radiated joy and energy, reminding everyone that fitness can be fun and festive.
Interactive games dotted the field, drawing crowds eager to try their hand at friendly challenges. From relay races to team-building activities, the games fostered camaraderie among families and friends. Adding an element of surprise, the much-awaited raffle draw kept the excitement alive, with lucky winners walking away with fabulous prizes.
As the day unfolded, the stage came alive with heartwarming family performances. Parents and children took turns showcasing their talents—singing, dancing, and even comedic skits. The performances were not only entertaining but also a touching reminder of the strong family bonds nurtured within the St. Bridget community.
From the foam-filled fun run to the vibrant Zumba session, and from exciting games to emotional family showcases, the “Sleigh the Holidays” Family Day was a celebration of everything St. Bridget stands for: unity, wellness, and shared joy.
As the sun set on Pastor’s Field, families left with tired feet, happy hearts, and a renewed sense of connection—proof that at St. Bridget, the holidays are always brighter when celebrated together.
