Seniors come to “LYF” for Youth Fest 2023

After more than two years of its absence due to pandemic, 198 students of the Senior High School level of St. Bridget College-Batangas participated in the LIDICSA Youth Fest (LYF) at the De La Salle Lipa Centrum, March 10. With its theme “One Family, One Mission: LIDICSA in Action”, more than 2,000 students from different Catholic schools in the province of Batangas under the Lipa Archdiocesan Catholic Schools Association-LIDICSA, Inc. participated in this year’s two batches of LYF. City Health Office raises awareness on HIV-AIDS to SHS Bridgetines

In line with World AIDS Day 2022 commemoration, the Batangas City Health Office conducted a seminar on Senior High School student-leaders that aims to raise awareness on youth about the sexually-transmitted diseases, mainly Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection (HIV) at Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) last December 7. Aligned to the theme of this year’s event, “End HIV, Act for Equality para sa Healthy Pilipinas”, officers of the City Health Office (CHO) shared their respective knowledges regarding the said sexually-transmitted diseases. Potentials ‘walk the talk’ in Leadership training

Student-leaders of the St. Bridget College Senior High Level secured the opportunity to walk their talks as they participate in the very first face-to-face Leadership Training in SBC-SHS last October 19 at the SBC Gymnasium. After two years, leadership trainings were brought back for leaders to experience onsite school activities since the pandemic. To honor the Christmas season and the Bridgetines’ love and appreciation for the birth of Jesus Christ, the Senior High School (SHS) level of St. Bridget College welcomed the holiday season through the department’s Christmas party celebration last December 19. As an annual tradition, the blue gates once again showed condemnation of abuses experienced by women and children by celebrating the 18-day campaign Anti-Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) from November 25 until December 12. In line with the national theme of the movement, “United for A VAW-Free Philippines,” St. Bridget College Senior High School level advocated for the right and just treatment of women and children by participating in the parade and community dancing as a kick-off activity for the said movement. With the theme “Expanding Science and Mathematics Horizons through ASMEPPS Initiatives,” students of the Senior High School Department emerged victorious in the Regional Association of Science and Mathematics Educators of Philippine Private Schools (ASMEPPS) Math and Science Quiz, October 15.
